Who Am I?

Hi! My name is Summer Perkins. I am the owner of Castle Books LLC.

Castle Books is online only right now. However, I am currently raising funds to get a mobile bookstore up and running. My Instagram has all the updates on the progress of that goal. 

Magic!

I have always wanted to own a bookstore. Bookstores are magical places that open doors to hundreds, if not thousands, of new worlds.

My dad read books to me before bed, including books by his favorite author, J.R.R. Tolkien. I always ended up reading past my bedtime. Growing up, my favorite places were covered wall to wall with books. 

Now, as an adult, my favorite places are still full of books. One person who has always inspired me and whom I want to be like is my middle school librarian. She took the time to talk with me about books and recommended books and series that became some of my favorite books of all time. I want Castle Books to be a place like that for the people in my community.
